This regularly scheduled series takes place the third Tuesday of every other month from 10:30am - 11:30am MST and will be hosted via teleconference on Zoom.

Overview and Target Audience: 

This educational activity is presented for all Anschutz Emergency Department  staff. It provides an opportunity for in-depth exploration of caring for critically ill patients, such as those requiring intubation or resuscitation, utilizing video review of actual cases. The purpose of this event is to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to improve outcomes for these patients.

Global Objectives:

During each session, faculty and participants will:  

  • Discuss resuscitation equipment and resources 
  • Review essential skills 
  • Identify at least one new skill to put into practice 

Learner Outcome: 

At the conclusion of this event, participants will self-report increased knowledge related to caring for critically ill patients.

Continuing Education Credit:

Registration, attendance, and evaluation are required for successful completion to obtain professional continuing education credit.
