Target Audience:
Physicians, Nurses and Health Professionals

Series Learning Objectives: 

  • Analyze individual patient cases, focusing on evaluation and management, to improve medical knowledge and reduce diagnostic errors for future similar patient presentations.
  • Outline individual patient cases, focusing on the history, differential, and work-up, to improve personal and section-wide medical decision making for future similar patient presentations.
  • Recognize patient presentations that fall within a neurologic super sub-specialty and explain the initial steps in evaluation and management of sub-specialty patients prior to referral to a super sub-specialist.
  • Evaluate new scientific studies as they are related to child neurology and determine whether their conclusions will change clinical practice.
