The Lipid, Bile Acid, and Cholesterol Metabolism Disorders session will be an overview of bile acid and cholesterol synthesis defects, SLO, lipid storage (Wolman, Tangier, NPC).

Learning Objectives
- Identify disorders of sterol metabolism including clinical presentation, laboratory features, diagnosis, and management.
- Summarize which of the sterol and bile acid disorders have FDA approved treatments.
- Develop a differential diagnosis of individuals presenting with low cholesterol levels.
- Identify which laboratory tests are most useful in diagnosing sterol and bile acid disorders
