Overview and Target Audience
This virtual conference presents topics of interest to neonatal care providers, including NNPs, nurses, and physicians, as well as other health care professionals working in the neonatal ICU. Speakers cover new and emerging neonatal topics, clinical presentations, as well as reviews of available evidence for current practice strategies related to the anticipation, recognition, assessment, stabilization and acute and long-term care of the neonate. Discussion and question sessions will follow each presentation.
Learner Outcome
At the conclusion of this event, the participant will report increased knowledge and intent to change practice related to current best-practice and innovative solutions for patient care in the NICU.

This conference presents topics of interest to neonatal care providers, including NNPs, nurses, physicians, as well as other health care professionals working the in the neonatal ICU.
Poster Presentations
During lunch and breaks, the conference will feature poster presentations in lobby for participants to review and ask questions.
Learning Objectives
- Describe compassion and empathy within ourselves and in supporting others.
- Examine bronchopulmonary dysplasia definitions over the decades, the incidence of BPD and screening for pulmonary hypertension in BPD.
- Discuss maternal/infant health and mortality implications of addressing postpartum care to 4th trimester care.
- Discuss two areas in practice that would benefit from integration of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
- Explore guidelines and importance of early detection of cerebral palsy in the neonatal population.
- Identifying fetal and neonatal pharmacology for the APRN.
- Explain rationale for use of NAVA strategy in the NICU
- Describe care for infants born at 22-weeks gestation.

The 13th Annual Neonatal Advanced Practice Conference will be held at the Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. This is a great opportunity to network with advanced practice nurses from around the state of Colorado. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Exhibitor Fee
An exhibit booth for this event is $250 for the day.
This includes a registration for the conference, a table, a tablecloth, a chair, and meals at the event. Space is available on a first come basis and display table measures 5 x 2 feet. Each exhibitor is allowed one space only.
