The 2023 Breathe Better Conference

The 6-digit code provided to you the morning of the conference will be used to virtually sign-in for the course, then an email will be sent with a direct link to the course evaluation and your options to obtain course credit.

Target Audience

Pediatric and Adult Pulmonology Staff comprised of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Community Providers & Research and Administrative Staff

Learning Objectives

  1. Apply effective communication strategies to enhance patient-provider interactions, resulting in improved patient satisfaction scores.
  2. Develop a personalized action plan for implementing patient-centered care principles in their practice, including specific tactics to improve the patient experience, such as active listening and empathy.
  3. Identify disparities in healthcare access and outcomes related to diversity and health equity, and propose solutions for reducing these disparities in their own practice settings.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to initiate and lead discussions on diversity and inclusion within their healthcare teams, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and equitable care environment.
  5. Recognize the health impacts of climate change, such as poor air quality.
  6. Identify climate-resilient healthcare strategies that address the unique health challenges associated with climate change.
