35th Pediatric Pulmonary Cotton Conference - Sponsorship & Exhibit
We are delighted to announce the Children's Hospital Colorado 35th Pediatric Pulmonary Cotton Conference
Hosted at Copper Mountain in Frisco, CO on January 9-11, 2025!
The Section Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and Breathing Institute at the University of Colorado School of Medicine & Children’s Hospital Colorado hosts one of the oldest and most respected Pediatric Pulmonology training programs in the United States. Our training experience provides a unique blend of clinical aptitude, research experience, and innovation to develop the future leaders of pulmonary medicine. We have trained more than 75 pediatric pulmonologists with alumni that include 11 Cystic Fibrosis Center Directors, 14 Academic Program Directors, 12 Division Chiefs/Section Heads, and two Deans.
Our annual “Cotton Conference,” is aptly named after the founder of our fellowship and a pioneer in the field of pediatric pulmonary medicine. Our 2025 conference marks the 35th consecutive year of this event. All fellows in our program attend and present at the conference along with our faculty members, researchers, and a nationally recognized guest speaker. Former fellows, now located around the United States, regularly join. Other conference attendees include advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary physician leaders along with physicians, researchers, and trainees from across the globe who attend virtually.
The changing landscape of healthcare, as well as the challenging nature of pulmonary medicine prompts providers to be proactive and innovative when considering diagnostic and treatment options, future research focus, and avenues to best advocate for patients. To increase provider competence and clinical performance, the focus of this year’s conference is to discuss clinical advances and data related to inhalational lung injury, cystic fibrosis, aerodigestive and sleep disorders, asthma, and health equity. This 3-day conference will include didactic lectures and case-based discussion focused on advancing these areas. Additional education will be provided by our regional and local expert speakers and trainees. Possible outcomes related to this conference include improved quality, efficiency, and equity in the treatment of pediatric patients with pulmonary and sleep conditions.
