Accreditation Information:

Continuing Medical Education: Children's Hospital Colorado has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and awarded Accreditation with Commendation for 6 years as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Accreditation in the ACCME System seeks to assure the medical community and the public that SHEA delivers education that is relevant to clinicians’ needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development (Formerly known as CNE): Children’s Hospital Colorado is approved as provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American  Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

EMS Continuing Education: Children's Hospital Colorado is a State of Colorado recognized EMS Training Group (CO-049).

Trauma Continuing Education: Children's Hospital Colorado has been verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and has been designated as Colorado’s Regional Pediatric Trauma Center by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
