Target Audience: Oncologists, neuro-oncologists, hematologists, radiologists, pathologists, fellows, residents, and other health professionals who have an interest in morbidity and mortality cases. 

Objectives:

  • Critically appraise and integrate recent seminal journal articles in pediatric hematology/oncology to enhance evidence-based clinical decision-making.
  • Analyze and discuss complex, rare, or controversial clinical cases in pediatric hematology/oncology, incorporating relevant literature to improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
  • Recognize the inevitability of human error in clinical practice and apply strategies to mitigate its impact on patient safety and healthcare outcomes.

ABP MOC2 Credit: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 10.0 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

CME Credit: Children’s Hospital Colorado is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
