LIVE OUTREACH IN-PERSON ACTIVITY

Overview and Target Audience
This activity is for interdisciplinary healthcare team members caring for pediatric patients in an inpatient hospital setting. We will provide clinical updates and address current topics relevant to the care for sick and injured pediatric patients.
This education day will be held at Evans Army Community Hospital with only an in-person attendance option. No recordings or virtual links will be provided for this education event.
Learner Outcome
After attending this education, learners will report increased knowledge of assessment and treatment principles for inpatient pediatric care. Learners will successfully demonstrate key pediatric clinical care skills including vascular access, fluid resuscitation, suctioning, use of oxygen devices and use of phototherapy guidelines.
