LIVE OUTREACH IN-PERSON ACTIVITY

Overview and Target Audience

This activity is for interdisciplinary healthcare team members caring for pediatric patients in an emergency and pre-hospital setting. Through hands-on skill stations and case-based learning, participants will strengthen their ability to perform critical pediatric interventions.

This education day will be held at Colorado State University Pueblo with only an in-person attendance option. No recordings or virtual links will be provided for this education event. 

Learner Outcome

After attending this education, learners will report increased knowledge of assessment and treatment principles for common pediatric emergencies. Learners will be expected to successfully demonstrate key pediatric clinical care skills including airway management, IV/IO access, fluid resuscitation, sepsis treatment, medication administration and pediatric resuscitation principles.
