This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, EMS, and APP) provides an overview of the mental health crisis and benefits of trauma informed care. Dr. Lauren Eckhart and Lyndsay Gaffey describe the gaps in care for children requiring mental health care and management. They describe trauma informed self-care strategies to aid health care professionals.
