Pelvic health conditions such as constipation, incontinence, encopresis, enuresis, and dysfunctional voiding affect children of all ages and impact their daily functioning in many ways. The etiology of these conditions is multifactorial and treatment can be complex.  Treating pediatric pelvic health conditions requires a specific set of skills and education around treatment strategies that are unique to this patient population. Treatment often includes urotherapy as a conservative approach to treat urinary dysfunction as well as first line treatment for constipation (Austin 2014).
