5NLW - Navigating the Future of Nursing - A New World of Work - Live In-person Only
LIVE IN-PERSON ACTIVITY

Overview of the Workshop
The past four years have been very turbulent, impacting healthcare delivery systems and colleges of nursing. New and experienced nursing leaders and educators need help navigating the new world of work and changing expectations of students and the workforce. This workshop will discuss national trends and workforce challenges and provide practical strategies and tools that nurse leaders and educators can immediately apply to lead and educate nurses more effectively in this new world of work. We will examine how to become a more effective communicator, restore trust, promote professional accountability, encourage engagement, and build a culture of well-being. By the end of the workshop, nurse leaders and educators will be equipped with actionable strategies and tools to enhance their leadership skills.
Target Audience
This workshop is open to nurse leaders with direct reports, educators, faculty, and aspiring nurse leaders at Children's Hospital Colorado, UCHealth, and the University of Colorado College of Nursing.
Learner Outcome
After taking part in this event, participants will report increased knowledge and confidence related to effective communication, building trust amongst team members, promoting professional accountability, encouraging engagement, and building a culture of well-being.
Additional Session Available
