This year's Advanced Care of the Young Athlete Symposium equips clinicians across specialties with the latest strategies to diagnose, treat, and prevent a range of sports-related injuries and conditions, including foot and ankle conditions, scoliosis, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS).

Target Audience

This education program is primarily oriented towards physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses and athletic trainers. 

Learning Objectives

  • Understand and implement the multidisciplinary management of foot & ankle extremity injuries and conditions in young athletes. 
  • Describe the latest evidence regarding rest, physical activity, sleep, and exercise following concussion in young athletes. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of special conditions that may affect youth athletes including scoliosis and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Conference participants are encouraged to park in Visitor Lot 10 -- access this free lot from Victor Street. Please do not park in the patient parking structure.
