Give it Your Best Shot! Communicating with Vaccine Hesitant Parents
This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, APP, EMS) focuses on equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively address vaccine hesitancy. Participants will review current evidence on vaccine effectiveness, safety, and public health impact, explore common concerns and misconceptions that contribute to hesitancy, and practice communication strategies that combine empathy with evidence. The goal is to build trust and support informed decision-making during one-on-one conversations with parents.
