  • Identify youth suicide as a national and global public health problem, including key disparities in risk
  • Describe how research on screening can inform better care pathways and improve outcomes
  • Discuss the Preventing Suicide Initiative and the importance of moving beyond screening and assessment and ensuring linkage to suicide-specific care
