This conference on pediatric infectious diseases will cover topics of interest to pediatricians, family physicians, and other primary care providers for children and young adults.  These include updates on:   congenital CMV, influenza, COVID-19, acute otitis media, eosinophilia, and post-viral syndrome.

Target Audience

This conference is designed for pediatricians, family physicians, and other primary care providers for children and young adults.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the newest information on influenza and COVID-19 prevention, diagnosis, and management
  • Discuss pros and cons of screening for congenital CMV
  • Demonstrate best practices in the evaluation and management of patients with acute otitis media
  • Assess patients with eosinophilia
  • Manage patients with post-viral syndromes
  • Explain recent ACIP recommendations
