  • Recognize pregnancy related conditions which can lead to complicated grief. 
  • Understand a framework for breaking bad news, including communicating with empathy, providing patient resources, and establishing a supportive environment.
  • Review resources to help support patients and clinicians for early pregnancy loss, unexpected fetal diagnosis, termination for medical reasons and term stillbirth.
