Nursing Professional Development Certification Preparation Course
Overview
This hands-on, two-day course provided by the Association for Nursing Professional Development and jointly provided by Children's Hospital Colorado, is intended to increase understanding of nursing professional development and help prepare for the NPD certification exam offered by ANCC. The curriculum covers the major domains of practice found in the board certification exam:
- Educational Process Standards
- Leadership
- Ethical, Legal and Regulatory Standards
- Evidence-Based Practice and Research
- Technology
- Program/Project Management and Process Improvement
Registration closes April 16, 2024. Register early, as there are only 40 spots available. Once spots are full, registrants can be added to a waitlist. If a spot opens, you will be contacted with more information.
Target Audience
Registered nurses preparing for the specialty certification exam in nursing professional development (NPD), offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and RNs desiring additional education in nursing professional development.

This course is offered in-person only.
Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) contact hours will be provided through the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD). ANPD requires that names & email addresses of all participants be shared in order to provide credit.
