Cannabis Update 2024
Jointly provided by Children's Hospital Colorado and the Colorado School of Public Health
Over the twelve years of legalized cannabis, the marketplace has matured with a wide range of products available including flower, edibles, and vaped THC. There has been a shift towards higher concentration products. This activity will provide education on the basics of cannabis pharmacology, terminology, and describe products currently available in the cannabis marketplace. It will give an update on the evidence available on the health impacts of high-concentration cannabis products.
Finally, it will address the social implications of cannabis exposures in children and provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with a panel of experts on cannabis and ask questions related to patients and public health.
