Overview

Chelsey Stillman, MPAS, PA-C, will be discussing tics, Tourette’s and the explosion of the functional tic phenomenon. 

Faculty

Chelsey Stillman is a full time clinician in inpatient and outpatient epilepsy care. She regularly see patients in the FND/NES clinic at Children's Hospital and participates academically in the national FND consortium. She provides a variety of other neurologic care to children and volunteers regularly at the epilepsy foundation of Colorado.

Objectives

  • Review typical course and semiology of chronic tic disorders and Tics
  • Discuss typical treatments for chronic tic disorders and Tics
  • Review sociogenic phenomenon of social media influenced tic like symptoms
  • Discuss pathophysiology of Functional Neurologic disorders (FND)
  • Discuss approach and treatments for Functional Tic like Movements
  • Gender/sex influence on Functional Tic like movements
