This regularly scheduled series takes place every Monday beginning January 22, 2024.
Registration and evaluation are required to obtain professional continuing education credit. See session details for the weekly educational topic hosted within this series. Cardiac Cath Case Conference will be hosted virtually until further notice.
Target Audience: Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, RNs, and other health professionals involved in the care and management of pediatric cardiac diseases.
Global Objectives:
- Identify and review clinical indications for interventional management in congenital heart disease.
- Didactic discussion of the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical presentation of pediatric cardiac disease processes and interventional advances in clinical management.
- Discuss complications of interventional cardiac procedures, alternative therapy and the clinical management of patients with complex congenital heart disease.
- Differentiate the testing modalities and how they are utilized in conjunction with the clinical picture, in the decision-making process for management of the complex heart.
