Target Audience:
Cardiologists, Cardiac Fellows, Cardiac Sonographers

Global Objectives:

  • Continually increasing the awareness of the diagnostic criteria for performing and interpreting echocardiograms.
  • Continually increasing the knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and hemodynamics that can be obtained from an echocardiogram and how this information informs the clinical decisions made by the attending physicians.
  • Improve issues uncovered from the QA and QI program to continue diagnostic excellence.
  • Review cutting edge enhancements and to understand how and if those enhancements will improve diagnostic capabilities.
