Suzanne Paul is a Family Nurse Practitioner currently coordinating a team of providers working with overweight and obese children and adolescents at Children's Hospital Colorado known as Lifestyle Medicine. Suzanne began her nursing career after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Nursing with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Following graduation from Emory University with a Master's in Nursing, she began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in management of the HIV positive child, adolescent, and pregnant women. In her role in the Children's Hospital Immunodeficiency Program (CHIP), Suzanne managed patient's medical needs as well as increased her skills in research protocol management. In 2015, Suzanne was accepted into the Duke Johnson and Johnson Nurse Leadership Fellowship in Raleigh, North Carolina. During her fellowship, she created a Telemedicine Clinic for the CHIP clinic. In 2019, she completed the EPIC Physician Builder certification in addition to the Physician Power User certification. Most recently, as a student in the Doctoral in Nursing Practice executive leadership program at University of Colorado (expected graduation December 2023), she has designed and implemented an AgileMD pathway in the electronic medical record system for proper identification and treatment of children with elevated liver enzymes and elevated blood pressure readings.
