13th Annual Updates in Pediatric Clinical Nutrition Conference
Welcome Nutrition Teams!
Target Audience
This conference is intended to present the most current research and application for clinical nutrition practice areas for the care of infants and children and will be of interest to staff at Children’s Colorado, community physicians, nurses, dietitians and other multidisciplinary healthcare providers.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the major ways to reduce anxiety, stress and power struggles during a family meal.
- Recognize that solid foods also play a critical role in infant development.
- Discuss rational, evidence and key principles for using motivational interviewing.
- Identify common sports supplements in young athletes and understand current research of risk vs benefits.
- Identify and assist parents in formula choices and the differences between formulas.
- Identify common pediatric nutrition concerns.
- Describe current federal and state nutrition policy topics.

Free parking for conference guest available in Lot #10 Visitor Parking located on Victor Street, just east of the hospital’s main entrance.
Arrive early to allow for pre-screening. Please enter the hospital at the main entrance and take the elevators to the Conference and Education Center on the second floor.

Cancellation Policy
The Planning Committee reserves the right to alter the agenda or cancel the conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, or if the minimum registration is not attained by October 18, 2024 with a full refund to participants.
- All cancellations must be received in writing at ce@childrenscolorado.org
- No refunds will be given three (3) business days prior to the activity start date.
- Cancelled registrations can be transferred to another individual for the same activity.
- Individuals who fail to attend the activity (no-shows) will not receive any refund. Forfeited fees may not be applied to any other activity.
