18th Annual Reach the Peak Asthma & Allergy Review and Update
Reach the Peak incorporates problem-based learning methods with a combination of lectures, case studies, networking, and comprehensive collaboration strategies. The conference is facilitated by leading experts in their field. The information presented helps health care team members stay up to date with evolving asthma management guidelines, emerging practice challenges, and the social determinants that influence asthma care.

Target Audience
Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered nurses, community health workers, medical assistants, and respiratory therapists will find the content extremely useful in their clinical settings.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the pathophysiology of asthma and contributing factors of asthma management.
- Apply evidence-based guidelines and pharmaceutical options for asthma management.
- Discuss environmental triggers, social determinates of health, and impact of community partnerships to address barriers in asthma care.
- Review of key components of asthma education and the asthma home management plan to improve health outcomes.
Learner Outcome
As a result of this activity, the participant will report increased knowledge and intent to change practice related to evidence-based asthma guidelines and protocols for asthma patients.
Scholarship Assistance
