The 2022 Western Pediatric Trauma Conference
The conference features nationally renowned faculty in the fields of pediatric trauma, critical care, emergency medicine and pre-hospital care. Participants will be able to propose practice improvements to their teams based on evidence-based guidelines, scientific inquiry, tools and resources presented at the conference. This event is an unparalleled opportunity to make and solidify relationships through person-to person communications and marketing.

Target Audience
The program content is targeted to surgeons, registered nurses and health care professionals from around the nation who care for injured children.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss current national standards of care in managing trauma patients, emphasizing uncommon content areas and ongoing research.
- Interpret requirements and distinguish all necessary preparations required for virtual ACS site visits.
- Summarize common disparities in trauma care and differentiate the innovative standards of care for trauma patients.
- Identify the most recent consensus Arizona-Texas-Oklahoma-Memphis-Arkansas Consortium (ATOMAC) guidelines.
- Recognize current injury prevention strategies and apply COVID-related adaptations.
Learner Outcome
After attending this conference, participants will report increased knowledge related to care of the pediatric trauma patient and report intent to change practice based on new evidence-based practice information provided.

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
Successful completion of this activity for MOC 2 points requires a minimum attendance of 10 hours to receive 10 MOC points.
