The 2025 Breathe Better Conference

Welcome Breathing Institute Team!

The Breathe Better conference will review and discuss factors that impact lung health trajectory across the lifespan and develop specific changes in practice to promote the maintenance of lung health throughout childhood and early adulthood. It is designed for providers, clinical care team members, and community partners who care for pulmonary patients or who do research on pulmonary conditions.

Target Audience

Pediatric and Adult Pulmonology Staff comprised of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Community Providers & Research and Administrative Staff

Learning Objectives

1| Describe key drivers that can contribute to health misinformation and barriers to communication between patients, families and healthcare professionals.

2| Apply practical tools and communication strategies to engage in respectful, empathetic, and nonjudgmental conversations with patients and families.

3| Utilize practical tools and frameworks to build trust and guide conversations toward informed decision-making.

4| Identify skills for navigating clinical and organizational uncertainty.
