This conference on pediatric infectious diseases will cover topics of interest to pediatricians, family physicians, and other primary care providers for children and young adults. Speakers cover the most recent information on diagnosis, management, and prevention of infections in pediatrics. Discussion of controversial issues and questions follow each presentation.

This conference is designed for pediatricians, family physicians, and other primary care providers for children and young adults.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss factors contributing to invasive Group A Streptococcus.
- Discuss newest evidence, best practices and guidelines in the diagnosis and management of Herpes Simplex Virus.
- Discuss best practices in the evaluation of infectious diseases in recent immigrants and refugees.
- Demonstrate knowledge related to indications and pharmacokinetics of common antibiotics.
- Discuss recent ACIP recommendations.
- Describe diagnosis and management of common pediatric infections and medications.
