3rd Annual CoPPCAP Learning Collaborative - A Virtual Event
Provided by: Colorado Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation & Access Program
This meeting is specifically for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) that work with children facing difficult choices with behavioral/mental health concerns. It will provide knowledge regarding key behavioral/mental health topics that will enable the participant to apply acquired knowledge and best practices with patients in his/her practice.
Learning Objectives
- Assess and treat mild to moderate behavioral health concerns of anxiety and depression presenting in the primary care setting.
- Interpret pharmacogenomic testing of their patients and apply results following the principles of evidence-based medicine.
- Describe the medical assessment and monitoring of youth presenting with eating concerns in the primary care setting.
- Utilize brief components of Family Based Therapy in the primary care setting to address eating concerns with both the patient and the family.
