Conference Overview
We are excited to return to Vail, Colorado for the 42nd Annual Conference on Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Vail is a small community nestled in the mountains and a short, beautiful drive from Denver, Colorado.
We will be holding a hybrid conference. You can choose to come in-person (Live Attendance) or to attend virtually (Virtual Attendance). The in-person conference will take place at The Lodge at Vail (lodgeatvail.rockresorts.com), located in the heart of Vail Village.
This conference presents topics of interest to pediatric, family practice and infectious diseases clinicians, as well as other health professionals. Speakers cover the most recent information on diagnosis, management, and prevention of infections in pediatrics. Discussion of controversial issues and questions follow each presentation. This conference is designed to promote information interchange; therefore, registration is limited.

Target Audience
This conference presents topics of interest to pediatric, family practice and infectious diseases clinicians, as well as other health professionals.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the rise of antivaccine activism.
- Discuss recent ACIP recommendations.
- Discuss updates on prevention and management of influenza and SARS-CoV-2.
- Discuss newest evidence, best practices and guidelines in the diagnosis and management of RSV.
- Discuss the relationship between climate health and pandemics.
- Review the newest data and guidance for PrEP and doxy-PEP.
- Discuss newest evidence and best practices for the diagnosis and management of sinusitis, pneumonia, tickborne diseases, tropical arboviruses, and EBV.
- Discuss ways that primary care providers can help prevent infections in children with immune deficiencies.
- Describe the workup for children with frequent or unusual infections.
- Describe new scientific data published within the last year that affects the management of infections in general pediatrics.
- Discuss prevention, evaluation, and management of common and uncommon pediatric diseases.
- Review pros and cons of different management strategies for common pediatric infections.
- Describe the newest evidence-based recommendations for diagnosis and management of skin and soft tissue infections.
- Discuss the most common medical questions to pediatric ID clinicians and the recommendations for management of those diseases.

A registration refund, minus a $25 processing fee, will be granted if cancellation is requested by July 18, 2025. No refunds will be granted after this date or for non-attendance.
Children’s Hospital Colorado reserves the right to modify the agenda or cancel this conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, or if minimum acceptable registration is not attained by June 25, 2025.
