Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants should be able to:
- Identify the triage of non-surgical and surgical adnexal cysts in the adolescent
- Review causes of abnormal menstrual bleeding in the adolescent and discuss the initial diagnostic and treatment approach
- Discuss the prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea, recommended treatment approach and when to consider endometriosis and gynecology referral
