Adult and Pediatric CTRC Education Day
During the course of research nursing, there are often studies that nurses contribute significantly to via patient care, coordination, and development of nursing guidelines. Often, nurses are not privy to these research study conclusions and outcomes. This is due to a number of factors including that research outcomes may take months to years to develop, and that nurses are not included in publications, and therefore, are not sent final study papers and/or conclusions. This program will focus on conclusions and outcomes of research studies conducted by pediatric and adult Clinical Translational Research centers at Children's Hospital Colorado and UCHealth.
Target Audience
Nurse researchers and others supporting research from Children's Hospital Colorado and UCHealth are invited to attend.
Learner Outcome
After participating in this education, nurses will report increased knowledge relate to research studies to which they have contributed. Participants will identify at least two key research findings or evidence-based practices shared by their peers to improve care outcomes in their respective clinical settings.
