Overview
Teri Reyburn-Orne and Mark Popenhagen will discuss whom to consult from Pain Services, understand the pain management escalation pathway from the mundane to the specialized, be able to identify the available nonpharmacologic pain management services that the Pain Service can provide, and understand the Pain Psychology techniques commonly used in the management of acute and chronic pain. Following completion of this regularly scheduled activity, Advanced Practice Providers and physicians will self-report increase in knowledge and intent to change practice.
