Childhood Cancer Disparities and Timely Diagnosis of Pediatric Brain Tumors
This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, APP) provides a review of the clinical pathways for the diagnosis and evaluation of pediatric brain tumors. The course also includes case study presentations and discussion on diagnostic and treatment considerations as well as childhood cancer disparities.

As a result of this activity, learners will be able to report new knowledge related to the timely diagnosis of pediatric brain tumors in order to provide current, evidence-based care to pediatric patients.

- Discuss how and when to proceed with imaging and other testing for a childhood brain tumor
