Collaborative Case Review: "UN-Buttoned: Where's the G-tube?"
Each Collaborative Case Review will describe a case associated with a possible adverse event and explore the system and clinical reasoning factors that may have contributed to this or similar cases.
Target Audience
This activity is for Children's Hospital Colorado employees, faculty, fellows and residents.
Learner Outcomes
As a result of this activity, participants will report increased knowledge of their contribution to system improvement and their role as members of the diagnostic team. Learners will report at least one practice change they intend to make as a result of this education.
Learning Objectives
- Examine how system factors and cognitive factors contribute to preventable harm arising at Children's Hospital Colorado.
- Discuss insights on possible solutions to address these factors.
