Echo Smarter, Not Harder: Practical Tips in CHD Part 1
This course for sonographers and other interested healthcare team members (MD/DO, APP, RN) will include pediatric scanning techniques, cardiac structures of interest, and neonatal echo emergencies. In addition to a presentation from content experts, attendees will participate in case study reviews and discussion to provide direction on clinical practice.

Learner Outcomes
As a result of this activity, learners will be able to report new knowledge related to pediatric echocardiography in order to provide current, evidence-based care to pediatric patients.
Learning Objectives
- Review standard ASE recommendations for pediatric echocardiography windows: parasternal and apical.
- Identify key anatomic and physiologic elements to evaluate utilizing these views.
- Illustrate examples of different pathologies visualized from parasternal and apical windows.
