Evidence-Based Practices for the Assessment & Treatment of ADHD
This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, APP, EMS) provides a review of the screening measures, non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment options. The course also includes discussion of challenges in caring for pediatric patients with ADHD.

As a result of this activity, learners will be able to report new knowledge related to ADHD in order to provide current, evidence-based care to pediatric patients.

- Outline common evidence-based screening measures used in medical settings for identification of ADHD/Disruptive Behaviors.
- Describe non-pharmacological evidence-based treatments for ADHD/Disruptive Behaviors.
- Summarize pharmacological treatments for ADHD.
- Discuss challenging cases and treatment approach in primary care.
