Optimizing Outcomes From Pediatric Cardiac Arrest
This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, APP, EMS) focuses on the importance of high-quality resuscitation and post arrest care for children. This includes a presentation with data on cardiac arrests, discussing challenges, opportunities and factors affecting outcomes. The need for effective data use, prevention strategies in ICUs, and training programs for maintaining competency in emergency situations are emphasized, along with the importance of follow-up care an tracking metrics.
