The Physician Relations Lecture Series is an educational event offered periodically throughout 2026. Each session will explore specialized topics in the field of pediatric medicine, featuring talks and discussions from leading experts. 

Target Audience

Physicians, Advanced Practice and other interested community women’s healthcare providers and clinicians

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe how nutrition, fluoride exposure, and oral hygiene practices influence pediatric oral health and disease prevention.
  2. Explain the basic mechanisms and clinical presentation of odontogenic infections seen in the primary care setting.
  3. Identify the initial steps in managing a tooth avulsion prior to dental referral.
  4. Determine when a child requires referral to a dental professional based on assessment findings and risk factors.
