Pediatric Trauma Case Studies
This course for the interdisciplinary health care team (RN, MD, EMS, and APP) provides a review of imaging and management of blunt abdominal injuries. Dr. Acker shares the admission, procedures, discharge, and follow-up care for blunt abdominal injuries. She shares trauma screening resources for all patients for acute stress disorder. Dr. Acker discusses evaluation of pediatric patients for physical abuse and shares an objective screening tool used for all emergency department patients.
