Overview and Target Audience
This activity is for RNs and interdisciplinary healthcare team members who would like to learn Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP) to confidently design, facilitate, and evaluate simulation-based training using the RCDP approach.
Learner Outcome
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to apply the core principles of an RCDP simulation session—including effective prebriefing, delivering concise performance focused feedback, and coaching learners through progressive skill improvement.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the core principles and instructional foundations of Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP).
- Apply RCDP methodology to design structured, learner-centered simulation sessions.
- Demonstrate effective facilitation techniques for conducting RCDP-based training.
- Deliver timely, specific, and constructive feedback to support learner performance and skill acquisition.
- Evaluate learner progress and adapt RCDP sessions in real-time to meet individual and team learning needs
On-Demand Modules must be completed prior to April 8.
