Robert E. Eilert Children’s Orthopedic Day
Children’s Colorado Orthopedic Day brings together distinguished visiting faculty with faculty of Children’s Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado School of Medicine. The day is designed with lectures and research case presentations of interest to surgeons, researchers and allied health professionals whose practice includes children with orthopedic disorders.

Target Audience
The target audience for this activity includes physicians, physicians assistants and any other clinical staff within an orthopedic practice setting.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:
- Increase knowledge in the safety profile of powered pedicle screw placement in pediatric spinal deformity.
- Illustrate the radiographic signs of acetabular dysplasia and femoroacetabular impingement.
- Calculate measure changes in ACL graft diameter in pediatric based on subsequent magnetic resonance imaging after surgery.
- Differentiate the association between pediatric proximal femur fracture with acetabular or femoral morphology with pediatric proximal femur fractures.
- Define how much radiation is involved in a chest x-ray compared to other sources of radiation.
- Increase knowledge in identifying inheritance patterns for Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
- Define and analyze about treatment of slipped capital femoral epiphysis with the Modified Dunn procedure.
- Analyze and differentiate if there is evidence of ACL graft growth between the time of surgery and the time that patients reach skeletal maturity.
