Robert E. Eilert Children's Orthopedic Day 2026
The Robert E. Eilert Children’s Orthopedic Day brings together distinguished visiting faculty of Children’s Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado School of Medicine. The day is designed with lectures and research case presentation of interest to surgeons, researchers, and allied health professionals whose practice includes children with orthopedic disorders.
Target Audience
The target audience for this activity includes physicians, physicians assistants and any other clinical staff within an orthopedic practice setting.
Learning Objectives
- Identify common and uncommon presentations of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including DDH, scoliosis, and pediatric trauma.
- Apply current evidence and clinical guidelines to formulate management plans for pediatric orthopedic disorders.
- Evaluate indications for surgical versus nonsurgical treatment options in conditions such as limb deformity, neuromuscular disorders, and fractures.
- Integrate risk–benefit considerations into decisions regarding growth-modulation and minimally invasive procedures.
- Apply quality improvement principles to standardize care pathways and reduce variation in treatment.

The Robert E. Eilert Orthopedic Day 2026 conference is being hosted in-person at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Conference participants are encouraged to park in Visitor Lot 10 -- access this free lot from Victor Street. Please do not park in the patient parking structure.
Please check-in at the main hospital entrance at the front of the building and allow plenty of time to check-in and follow screening protocol at the hospital front desk.
