Target Audience

This conference is intended to present the most current research and application for clinical nutrition practice areas for the care of infants and children and will be of interest to staff at Children’s Colorado, community physicians, nurses, dietitians and other multidisciplinary healthcare providers.

Learning Objectives

Empower providers to implement practical, harm-free lifestyle strategies that promote children’s health and well-being, while addressing social, psychological, and physical challenges across diverse body types.

Gain the skills to assess and manage nutritional needs in children with food allergies and restricted diets, including safe introduction of common allergens.

Enhance provider competency in identifying, treating, and supporting adolescents with eating disorders through inclusive care practices and appropriate intervention strategies.

Hybrid Format - Live In-Person or Virtual - Select location with registration type.

This activity will take place in the Medical Conference and Education Center located on the 2nd Floor at Children's Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus.  Virtual learners will be sent a Zoom link prior 1-3 days prior to. 

Parking

Children's team members must use their designated parking. Guests may park in the Lot 10 located to the east of the hospital. Enter Lot on Victor Street.

Health Screening

Health screenings are required for guests coming into the hospital. Please plan extra time for this process. If you are having flu or COVID symptoms, please stay home and reach out to us.

Cancellation Policy

The Planning Committee reserves the right to alter the agenda or cancel the conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, or if the minimum registration is not attained by October 23, 2026 with a full refund to participants.

  • A registration refund, minus a $20.00 cancellation fee, will be issued if the cancellation request is received at least 14 calendar days prior to the activity date. No refunds will be granted after this deadline or for non-attendance. However, a substitute may attend in your place if you notify the conference coordinator at least three days before the activity.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing at [email protected]
  • No refunds will be given three (3) business days prior to the activity start date.
  • Cancelled registrations can be transferred to another individual for the same activity.
  • Individuals who fail to attend the activity (no-shows) will not receive any refund. Forfeited fees may not be applied to any other activity.
