Overview, Target Audience and Learner Outcome:
This activity for the interdisciplinary healthcare team will include a review of current literature for the evaluation, treatment and management of pediatric patients encountered in the prehospital or emergency setting. EMS Providers and Nurses working in the prehospital or emergency setting will benefit from this education. As a result of this activity, learners will be able to self-report new knowledge related to specific diagnoses to provide current, evidence-based care to pediatric patients.
Global Objective:
- Describe pediatric clinical care considerations for various diagnoses.
Continuing Education Credit:
Registration, attendance, and evaluation are required for successful completion to obtain professional continuing education credit.
