Target Audience:
Physicians, Nurses, Healthcare professionals.

Global Objectives:

  • Improve the knowledge base of ED providers for practice of evidence-based medicine approaches to the evaluation and management of patients presenting to the pediatric emergency department.
  • Review and discuss patient care best practices of patients with rare or uncommon illnesses presenting to the pediatric emergency department.

 

MOC 2 Credit (effective May 2021): Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 5 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. Successful completion of this activity for MOC 2 points requires a minimum attendance of 5, 60-minute sessions to receive 5 MOC points.
