Target Audience

This invitation only event is intended for nursing leaders and other health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

Discuss questions related to nursing professional governance.

Learner Outcome

Upon completion of this event, participants will self-report increased knowledge of the differences between nursing shared governance and nursing professional governance and how to support and guide higher levels of decision-making and practice through nursing professional governance.

Dr. Tim Porter-O’Grady, DM, EdD, ScD(h), APRN, FAAN, FACCWS, has repeatedly contributed creative and innovative models of thinking and practicing in an ever-evolving health care system. For 25 years he has written and published books that “push the walls” of our thinking regarding healthcare leadership, governance and systems change.
