Overview of the Workshop
6th Annual Nurses Leading the Way - From Disruption To Direction: Leading Change with Heart and Vision - Live In-person Only. This interactive leadership keynote explores the emotional intelligence and visionary mindset required to lead through rapid change. Nurse leaders will gain practical approaches for guiding teams through evolving environments, fostering psychological safety, and building cultures ready for transformation. The session emphasizes leading with both heart and strategic clarity to sustain confidence and momentum across complex systems.
This session is a live in-person activity only. There will be no virtual option and will not be recorded for viewing later.
Target Audience
This workshop is open to nurse leaders, aspiring nurse leaders, educators, and faculty at Children’s Hospital Colorado, UCHealth, and the University of Colorado College of Nursing.
Learner Outcome
At the conclusion of this session, learners will be able to define emotionally intelligent leadership strategies to guide teams through change, strengthen cultural alignment, and sustain organizational performance during times of transition.
Additional Session Available
Students and team members are invited to register for a live, a hybrid morning session with Dr. Bob Dent on the same day. This session, titled "Thriving Through Times of Transition", will provide practical tools and inspiring stories to help nurses move from disruption to direction.
If you desire to attend both activities, separate registration is required for each.

Parking
Anschutz Medical Campus team members are required to park in their assigned locations. Those that are guests to the hospital may park in Lot 10 off Victor Street.
