CARE Network Designated Provider Ongoing Education - 2020 Cohort
This ongoing education combines clinical presentations, as well as reviews of available evidence for current practice strategies related to physical abuse, sexual abuse and behavioral health.
Target Audience
The monthly education is intended for providers who attended the 2020 new provider training.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the requirements of the federal Family First Prevention Services Act that impact practice.
- Understand the direction of American child welfare system improvement and reform, including changes in approaches to safety, treatment and permanency.
Learner Outcome
Upon completion, the provider will report increased confidence incorporating new information related to medical evaluation and assessment for behavior health needs with suspected abuse or neglect in children.
Continuing Education Credit
A certificate of attendance will be available at the end of the conference. Completion of the online evaluation is required.
